A2LA WorkPlace Training Course Policies
A2LA WorkPlace Training would like to thank you for registering for one or more of its courses. We believe this will be a value-added experience for you and we always encourage your feedback. To ensure your journey is successful, A2LA WorkPlace Training created several policies to ensure successful registration and, in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, to reschedule or cancel course participation. On rare occasions, inclement weather may prevent attendance, or a venue might be relocated. This document includes policies for situations such as these.
Registration & Confirmation Policy
A2LA WPT course registrations will not be confirmed until registration is complete, and payment is received in full prior to the course.
To reserve a seat in one of our courses you must register and submit payment greater than eight (8) calendar days prior to course commencement. Course registrations close eight (8) days prior to commencement. This is to ensure instructors have enough printed material for the students, including certificates of training.
Payment in full is required at time of registration to attend A2LA WPT courses. Credit cards are the preferred payment method. If unable to pay with credit card, you may select the “special payment” option during registration.
A2LA WPT accepts cash, check, and wire transfers and full payment must be received at least seven (7) days prior to course attendance. A purchase order (PO) is not considered payment and will not be used to reserve or confirm a seat in an A2LA WPT course (federal, state, and local governments and municipalities may be exempt.) If your process requires the use of a PO to process payment, please send the formal, approved PO to firstname.lastname@example.org. Unless documented arrangements have been agreed upon by A2LA WorkPlace Training, payment for your registration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to attending the course. Please make checks payable to: A2LA-Work Place Training.
When registering your information in CVENT, during the registration process you have the option to grant or deny us permission to communicate with you about the course(s) via email.
By NOT selecting “Opt-Out”, we inform you of the following:
- Confirmation email
- Pre-event notification (what we provide and what you need to bring)
- Payment notifications
- Cancelation emails
- Event/Venue updates
- Post-class instructor and class surveys
If you select “Opt-Out,” you will NOT receive any of the above information and A2LA WPT will not be responsible for any fees incurred due to a lack of communication regarding the course(s) for which you registered.
Cancelation & Refunds
To cancel or reschedule a confirmed training please submit written notice via email to email@example.com.
Participant Cancelation, Transfer & Substitution:
If A2LA WorkPlace Training receives written notice via email of your cancelation or class reschedule request, the following refund/credit will be made based on the location and number of days prior to class start the cancelation request is received.
*Credit towards the same class or class of equivalent cost.
If you chose to transfer your course to another date or location, registration and attendance must be completed within the calendar year. If the course is not completed within the calendar year, refunds will be forfeited.
If you are or the person you registered is not able to attend a registered class, you may request to substitute a colleague in place to avoid potential cancelation fees. Please provide A2LA WPT written notice, preferably by email, of the changes. A2LA WPT understands there may be extenuating circumstances that can cause you or the participant to not attend - please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you in these situations.
Contract (On-site) Training Event Cancelation: **
A deposit payment of 50% of your event total must be received prior to scheduling and confirming any contract training event dates with an instructor.
If A2LA WPT receives written notice via email of your cancelation or event reschedule requests:
- Greater than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the confirmed event start date, you will be refunded the full amount in the same method that you submitted payment*.
- Between thirty (30) and fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the confirmed event start date, you will you will be refunded the full amount in the same method that you submitted payment less any travel expenses incurred by the trainer. In the event this fee is greater than the amount in the deposit payment, you will be billed directly for the remaining balance.
- Less than or equal to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event start date you will incur a $250/day of training cancelation/rescheduling fee and be charged for any non-refundable travel expenses incurred by the trainer. In the event this fee is greater than the amount in the deposit payment, you will be billed directly for the remaining balance.
*If due to inclement weather or natural disaster, please follow A2LA WPT’s cancelation below.
A2LA WPT Cancelation:
A2LA WPT reserves the right to cancel any training course, typically at least 30 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date. Notice will be provided with the option to reschedule for a future course date or to receive a full refund of registration fees. Your refund will be given in the same method that you submitted payment. *
INCLEMENT WEATHER DELAYS, EARLY DISMISSALS AND CANCELATIONS POLICY
A2LA WorkPlace Training is committed to the safety and security of its students and staff. As such, the decision to cancel classes, close the training facility, and/or cancel or delay A2LA WPT courses is based on the overall concern for the safety and security of the all event participants. If a training class is canceled due to inclement weather, the customer is entitled to transfer their registration into a future training course at no cost or receive a full course refund. Your refund will be given using the same method that payment was received. *
Should inclement weather conditions arise or be anticipated that would make class attendance unsafe, A2LA WPT may elect to cancel, delay, or dismiss the class early.
• If cancelation or delay action is made prior to the start of a course, students will be notified via phone and email that they provided during registration.
• If a course is already in session and any early dismissal action is deemed necessary, students and instructors will be released from all classes and may leave the training facility at that time.
Sometimes A2LA WorkPlace Training may have to relocate training to a new venue due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you, as early as possible, via phone and email using the contact information provided during the registration process. It is important that you give complete and accurate contact information during the registration process, along with permission to contact you (selecting opt-out during registration will prohibit us from communicating with you) if issues should arise. A2LA WPT is not responsible for any costs or issues incurred by you for not providing us the correct contact information and permission.
*Please note that credit card refund processing may take up to seven (7) business days to post to online banking records.
