A2LA WorkPlace Training makes use of the technological resources at our disposal to deliver world-class ISO, metrology, and management systems training in innovative ways. Our remote learning options are divided into two categories: E-learning and Virtual Classroom. These two products are designed to serve different needs, and many subjects covered by AWPT are limited to one delivery method or the other. This ensures optimal learner engagement and retention of the material.
E-Learning
E-learning uses self-paced online modules to instruct learners on measurement and calibration, ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, measurement uncertainty, technical metrology skills, and more. AWPT offers more than 30 E-learning courses, which can be purchased individually or licensed to an entire department or even an entire organization.
Virtual Classroom
Virtual Classroom uses a video classroom program to host live, interactive courses with AWPT instructors. Learners can interact with instructors and fellow learners through discussion and activities. Virtual Classroom is ideal for complex subjects such as preparing for accreditation to various ISO standards or learning to audit your laboratory.
Hybrid Learning
Hybrid learning classes are conducted live in a physical classroom, but the audio and video are also streamed to online participants. All learners – whether in the classroom or online – use an online portal for activities and group work so everyone can work together. This delivery method allows us to accommodate learners who prefer to work in a classroom, as well as those who are unable to travel or prefer to attend remotely without limiting the course schedule.
