ISO 20387 Accreditation Training Course

A2LA WPT can help prepare your facility for accreditation to ISO 20387 and support quality in your biobanking functions.
Many A2LA WPT courses are now available remotely through our live Virtual Classroom.

In addition to our broadly applicable ISO auditor training courses, A2LA WPT has developed a unique ISO 20387 training course for biobanks and facilities that perform biobanking activities. This class is the first of its kind designed around this ISO standard, and has been designed by industry experts to give you valuable insight on the standard and its practical application in different types of biobanking facility.

What You’ll Learn

MS 180 “Understanding ISO 20387:2018 General Requirements for Biobanking” covers the standard clause by clause. Like our other ISO standards courses, it covers the requirements and their related concepts in depth, but participants will also gain an understanding of how ISO 20387 differs from the existing ISO standards for similar functions, such as ISO 15189, and why these differences are crucial to biobanking. Our more generalized ISO auditing courses are an excellent complement to the information in MS 180. The subjects covered in these courses give participants a more complete understanding of the terms, definitions, and concepts associated with quality systems, and demonstrate valuable information on managing risks and taking corrective actions.
